The Northrop Grumman MQ-8 Fire Scout is an unmanned autonomous helicopter - a type of drone. Developed for the US military, these craft were mainly designed for a mixture of spotting and light strike.

Takom's 1/35 scale model kit represents the 'B' variant of Fire Scout, and can be built with the rotor deployed, or folded for storage. The model can also be assembled with different payload and nose configurations.
