An icon of the Second World War, and almost impossibly beautiful, the Supermarine Spitfire is undoubtedly one of the most famous aircraft of all time. Designed by R. J. Mitchell, chief designer at Supermarine Aviation Works, and his team, the Spitfire - through continuous developments and upgrades - remained a pivotal design for the Allies through out the war.

Kotare's highly detailed model includes three different paint schemes, and numerous build options; these include optional DeHavilland and Rotol propellers, optional TR.9D and TR.1133 wireless controllers and aerials, optional pilot’s seats with and without Sutton Type K harness detail, and optional open and closed cockpit doors.
