A Spice Harvester is a massive, industrial machine featured in Frank Herbert's Dune universe, designed to extract spice (melange) from the deserts of the planet Arrakis. Spice is a valuable and rare substance that powers space travel and enhances human abilities, making it one of the most sought-after resources in the galaxy. The harvesters are large, slow-moving machines equipped with giant scoops and machinery to mine the spice from the sand.

Due to the presence of dangerous sandworms that are attracted to the vibrations caused by harvesting, these machines are typically escorted by ornithopters (flying vehicles) to protect the crew and ensure safe evacuation when sandworms approach. The spice harvesters are a symbol of the high stakes and dangers associated with spice production, as well as the immense wealth and power it brings to those who control it.
