The Sd.Kfz. 234/1 Schwerer Panzerspähwagen was a German heavy armored reconnaissance vehicle used during World War II. It was part of the Sd.Kfz. 234 series (replacing the iconic Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma in production) and featured a 20mm KwK 38 autocannon mounted in an open-top turret, allowing for quick engagement of targets. With an 8x8 wheel drive, the 234/1 offered excellent off-road mobility and speed, making it ideal for reconnaissance and support roles. Its design emphasized versatility, allowing it to effectively perform in a variety of terrains and combat scenarios.

MiniArt 234/1 kit 35410
Very nice interior kit of the 234/1 armoured car. Contains some delicate parts within the kit. Parts will require careful removal & cleanup. The open top of the turret does reveal the interior of the crew compartment. The "sliced" plastic tires allows correct tread pattern once assembled, and preferred over vinyl type tires. Kit has photo etch fret for star antenna, straps & the grenade screens on the turret. Recommended for intermediate to experienced modelers, due to the interior & etch parts.
