The Junkers F13 was the world’s first all-metal passenger aircraft, introduced in 1919 by the German manufacturer Junkers. Designed for both passenger and cargo transport, it featured a streamlined, single-engine monoplane design and was made primarily of corrugated duralumin for strength and lightness. With a capacity of four passengers and a pilot, the F13 was notable for its enclosed cabin, a rarity for aircraft of that time, offering improved comfort and safety. It played a crucial role in advancing civil aviation in the 1920s and 1930s.
