One of the most widely-used heavy tractors in German military service, the Hanomag SS100 was originally derived from the civilian SP-100 heavy agriculture tractor. Powered by an 8,550 cc 6 cylinder D85 diesel engine, the SS100 could accommodate up to five passengers and a driver, and was used tow everything from V2 missiles through to artillery.
