One of the more striking elements from the anime Macross universe, the Variable Fighter Girls are transforming mecha and their pilots that can transition between an airborne fighter mode, and a walking Battroid form (with many having an intermediate Gerwalk form as well).

The VF-25F Messiah and its pilot Ranka Lee was the first VF Girl in the series to appear. Aoshima's model kit transforms between all three of the Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid configurations; the set also includes a selection accessories, as well as the parts to allow the pilot's feet and hands to be clad or bare.
