The I-401 submarine, known as Iona from the TV anime Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-, returns as a plastic model kit with updated equipment parts.
The kit includes fluorescent decals that glow under blacklight, allowing the iconic vibrational pattern seen in the anime to be faithfully recreated. In addition, highly detailed optional photo-etched parts are included to reproduce delicate features such as railings and propeller guards that cannot be fully replicated with plastic parts alone, enabling an even more accurate and refined finish.
